Saint Rebekah Coptic OrthodoxChurch of Orlando is a church in the Diocese of the Southern United States, under the guidance of His Eminence Metropolitan Youssef. We are based on the teachings of Saint Mark who brought Christianity to Egypt during the reign of the Roman emperor Nero in the first century, a dozen years after the Lord's ascension. The Coptic Church was established in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ by St. Mark the Evangelist in the city of Alexandria around 43 A.D and adheres to the Nicene Creed.
Our church is named after St. Rebekah who was martyred in the 4th century, along with her five children Agathon, Peter, John, Ammon, and Ammona. May their intercession be with us all. Amen.
